Commercial Description:
A deep amber colored American ale, featuring a rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is exceptionally balanced between malty sweetness and delicate hop bitterness.

12oz bottle-pours a light tan head with copper color. Aroma is a good balance of malt & hops. Taste follows with a hops finishing with a bite. Good carbonation.

Pours amber with a thin light tan head. Aroma is bready, lightly sweet and malty, with aromatic toasted malts and a very subtle hint of pine. This beer tastes almost like a malty, bready German lager, with well balanced herbal hoppiness. Very neutral ale yeast playing little role in the taste. Mouthfeel is medium/full bodied with moderate carbonation. This is a great beer from one of my favorite cities.

Fairly thick head. Very smooth with a nice balance between maltyness and hoppyness.

Another one of my favorite beers. Great malty smoothness and just the right bitterness. A light smokiness to go along with the malt and hops.

Clearish gold hued brown. Above average off white head. Aroma is maltcentric with light cocoa and a bit of something close to caramel with a sweet tart quality to it. Definitely some chocolate in the flavor. A not quite woody, not quite earthy, not quite citrus flavor. A Popsicle stick feel that I don’t like. This doesn’t do much for me 4 4 4 3 9

Bottle. Pours dark, clear copper with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is mostly of flowery hops, with a bit of malt. Flavor is much more malty, somewhat but not overly sweet, with bittering hops in the background. Medium-bodied with a dry finish. Very well balanced. Easily drinkable anytime, but an especially good springtime ale.

Copper/amber in color with a kind of "from the cask," bubbly head - the aroma and flavor have the biscuity, bready notes and medium woody hop qualities I find most often in english bitters - medium bodied - very smooth and balanced - a nice brew for the spring.

Dark, crystal clear copper/orange body. The aroma is nearly nonexistant, though...possibly I detect some sugar, malts and an earthiness. The flavor is also nearly as light. Many more malts here, with a slight sprinking of hops, but its a decent amber ale all around.
