Commercial Description:
A deep amber colored American ale, featuring a rich malty body. Cascade and Willamette hops add a complex hop flavor and aroma. This ale is exceptionally balanced between malty sweetness and delicate hop bitterness.

I got this one at Chips in the Outer Banks. It had a reddish color and I sensed a caramel-flavored malty high end along with a soft dry finish. The maltiness is a strong point with me but its not hoppy enough for my particular pallate.

Copper pumpkin color. Carbonation is steady. A smooth, firm, evenly placed, dark beige cap of medium stoutness is roofing it. Great retention too. Keeps a generous whipped foamy coating the entire glass through. Sporatic sticky thickly set lacing in flimsy sheeting. Pleasantly clean but fairly subdued aroma of earthy woody hops with a brisk under sweeping of husky toasty malts. Very light fruity hints emerge as it warms. Nice little taster here. Toasty with a rounded out fruity nudge of malts. Mild hoppy finish with leafy earthen hop tea noting off into a fluffy spicy drying aspect and gradual fade into a return of red apple skin fruityness. Extremely light citrus Crisp and bold medium feel with a smooth carbonation and flow. Good subtle flavors, tones, and dryness makes for some fine drinkin’. A pretty solid red ale, which are few and far betwwen.

On tap at Summits in Sandy Springs. burnt orange color with 1/4 inch impressive foamy white head. lots of citrus in the aroma, along with hops and lots of pine. weird swill aroma mixed in too, like dirty dishwater or catfish or something. very creamy mouthfeel with citrus, pine, cactus taste. lots oof hops and some malts in the flava.

(Thanks to Drew for the bottle) Amber pour. Not much head, but decent lacing. Malty aromas with lots of crystal malt. Malty flavors, but a touch of eathy hops. Light alcohol in the finish.

Copper amber with a short head but good lacing. Aroma is sweet malts. Malty taste - some earthyness, toffee, lightly hopped, but it’s there. Finish is increasingly sweet as it warms.
