The aroma has a grassy and floral hop with malt, and yeast. The appearance is hazy gold with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma except its astringent. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s interesting but it’s not a good IPA. Its bitter in a soapy way.

Hazy golden/orange body, fluffy off-white head. Nose is lemony hops, some lighter resin with a toasty malt backbone (6.5). Flavor is bitter hops but not much flavor, light malt, caramel. Somewhat watery but drinkable.

2008-05-08.Hazy orange amber with a small creamy off white head. (3+) Pleasant hoppy aroma, light citrus and mild resin. Similarly pleasant hops in the flavour, muted resin, light citrus hints. (6+) Smooth average palate. (3+) Pretty nice, but strikes me as probably having a little more oomph to the hops when fresher or on tap. Bottle shared by Jon Walker

Draft at Flying Saucer Raleigh. Clear gold with lasting head and lace. Fresh hop cirtus aroma. Mild honey/vanilla sweetness with medium fruitiness and bracing hop bitterness with some hop flavor. Medium body and carbo. Pretty good.

Color is a typical but appetizing coppery amber, somewhat cloudy. Aroma is rich and strongly hoppy with a malty undertone. Flavor is rich and very hoppy but not too bitter - very satisfying. This is one sassy and jazzy IPA, not superb but definitely worth a try if you like hoppy beers.
