Somewhat citrus aroma. Taste is has a boldness rather than sweetness like some Imperial IPA’s. Not as Hppy as some with a bit of an alcohol bite

citrus pine aroma. pours amber blonde. The flavor is very east coast ipa, not a lot of hop flavor just straight bitterness. Its not bad.

Tap at the brewery... not hugely hoppy but more than most Highland products. I guess in keeping with the scottish roots of the brewery, it is more of a hoppy Scottish ale. A little lighter in body, but still plenty of malt. Wish I could get it in Knoxville, one of Highlands best beers.

To me this is just a standard, albeit typical IPA, which is why I don’t understand why they would want to make an Imperial version of said IPA, but having said that. Lots of citrusy hops, tangerine and the like. Sweet caramel maltiness, with a nice bitter finish.

Tap @ Mellow Mushroom Asheville, NC. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a small white head that fades to a ring and leaves good lacing. Aroma of citrus & pine hops with sweet malt in the background. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium slightly resiny mouthfeel w/ a moderate amount of bitterness. Very good.

Cloudy orange with a thick white head. Sweet, sugary malt aroma with a heavy infusion of citrusy hops. Fantastic hoppy taste with an earthy yet sweet malt presence. Excellent.

Pours a hazy brownish orange color. Quickly vanishing head with plenty of lacing left behind. The aroma is a floral and citrus hops, with some maltiness in the background. The taste is citrus with a far amount of bitterness. The aftertaste is bitter hops and with a somewhat drying sensation. This is a decent IPA but slightly lower in hop kick than many IPA’s.

12oz bottle from performula. Decent citrus and pine aroma. Copper body with decent head. Good citrus flavor with more of a malt backbone that holds back some of the crispness. Good brew thanks.
