Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a hazy orange with frothy white head. The mild aroma is sweet sugary malts and mild hops like grapefruit and over ripe orange. Just like the aroma it starts sweet and malty with a hint of astringency. The hops are mild with grapefruit, ripe orange and orange rind. The bitterness builds some into the finish but is overall lackluster in its assertiveness.

Bottle. Clear amber with a medium head. Aroma of caramel malt and grassy/perfumy hops. Tastes of caramel with some spice and just a little apricot. Not bad.

Pours copper with a nice white head. Smells of pine and some spice. Tastes resiny with some caramel and pine blending together. Decent, but I’m hoping the imperial version has more depth than this.

The aroma was malty with a strong presence of caramel and a nice citrusy hop presence. Grapefruit and light orange with a smidge of pine were the hop attributes. The beer poured just ever so slightly hazy golden amber with a moderate and long lasting off-white head which laced the glass. The flavor was nicely balanced with citrus and caramel malt working well together. The hop bittering was moderate and not overly assertive, yet enough to let you know this was an IPA. The finish was dry with lasting light bittering and citrus into the aftertaste. The body was medium with a moderate level of carbonation and a creaminess on the palate. A nice IPA, well balanced, not overly assertive, but a nice pint. 12 ounce bottle. Says brewed and bottled in Asheville.

light orange in color. Some orange in the aroma and a light malty body. Some caramel also.

Bottle, thanks to decaturstevo. Pours a bright, brassy amber with a thin but lacy white head. Light caramel and citrus aroma. Medium body and light carbonation. The taste matches the nose. A nice, lingering bitterness shows up after the finish dries out. A nice beer, in the same Area Code as the IPAs.

From the bottle, pours a tanslucent light orangish color with a thick foamy white head, nice lacing. Nose is fruity, citrusy, some caramel maltiness as well. Taste is lackluster, but not half bad. Same citrusy maltiness, smooth, a bit of hops at the end. Ok beer.

bottle courtesy of ucusty. hazy orange brown with a small off white head that lingers. aroma has citrus, blueberries and caramel malts. medium to creamy mouth feel. sweet flavor is very grainy with an iced tea like hoppiness. it’s not very ’IPA"...almost like a decent scottish with the woody flavors and lack of real bitter hops. possibly an old bottle as it had no BB date?
