| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Poured out sorta murky light amber with a hoppish, floral aroma. The flavor was of medium hops and malt, ever so slightly. The taste was of clean hops, water and flowers. Pretty good I suppose. Not a mega IPA power house, but drinkable. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Poured a dark golden brew, closer to a pale ale. The aroma was citrusy and spicey, hoppy. The head was thin and pale. Tasted hoppy, citrusy, spicey, and slightly bready. The palate was crisp and the finish hoppy. 19641948 (491), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 16, 2006 From notes 9/17/03:
Pours a nice muted gold color (not the copper color I was expecting) with a fluffy white head that whittled away slowly in rocky clumps. Excellent lacing with sitcky soapy patches and rings all the way down. The aromas are refreshing and somewhat mild. The scents are not "in your face" as some IPA’s can be. A modest floral and citrus hop scent accompanied by a worthy malt aroma. Nicely balanced scent. The taste has some malt backbone to it, this isn’t all about the hops. A nice grassy, flowery, slightly citrus taste atop a malty middle. Plenty of bitterness at the end of the taste to cast aside any maltiness lingering. Not a thick beer, but not watery either. Easily drinkable.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 13, 2006 This was a fairly average IPA with fewer interesting characteristics than this brewery’s American Pale Ale. Small white head atop a light yellow, clear body. The light hop aroma was mostly perfumey and the malts presented a nose of grain and straw. Lightly sweet in flavor with a moderate bitterness in the finish. The medium body had average carbonation and a slick texture. biznizness (948), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 10, 2006 Decent. Golden color, a bit strange, should have been a bit deeper. Not a horrible IPA, though not really noteworthy. I see people here are pretty down on this brew. Take it or leave it. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Sep 9, 2006 Honey gold pour with a bubbly head that settles into a film on the surface. The nose is peppery with a subdued hop presence - perfume and roses. While the body is creamy, the hops and malts seem jumbled and undefined. Moderate bitterness throughout, the body is mostly rind and muttled malts. I’ll take their APA over this time and time again. hopscotch (5504), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 7, 2006 Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Mostly clear golden ale with a small, frothy, white head. Subtle nose with traces of herbal, spicy hops and gentle malt. Maybe a touch of diacetyl... toffee and butterscotch notes. Moderately sweet, moderately bitter flavors of peach, orange and grapefruit. Medium-bodied and silky with moderate carbonation. Lengthy, mildly bitter, grassy finish. Gachupines (293), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Light color with a decent white head. Aroma is pleasant but fairly light. Taste is dry with a decent hop presence. Mildly sweet as well. Decent but overall somewhat underwhelming especially considering some other American IPAs being made. Above average but nothing to search for.
