Grassy, nutty, little peach/apricot as it warmed. Clean orangy gold color, Nice head that faded to a cover withgood lacing. Bitter flavor. Grapefruit, lemon, honey, grassy. Bit better than the flavor in terms of strength of it. Medium body, creamy slick mouthfeel, bitter dry flavor. Bit weak in the aroma which brought down the overall impression. One of the many Highland beers I’ve been after for a while now, and one of the many suprises from my recent trade with Ross. Pours almost hazy orangey/yellow, leaving a short lived, half a glass of froth, and moderate lace. Aromas of biscuit, leafy hops, dough, bread, and malts. Tastes fresh, bitter leafy hops, sweet bread and cookie, with a spirtzy, overly carbonated finish, leaving fresh bitterness. Reminds me of DFH 60. Just not as aggressive. Good. Thanks you Rossssssssss! darkko (99), Kingsport, Tennessee, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 21, 2006 Started out with thick head and strong hoppy aroma. Taste was absolutely delicious with a moderate bitter quality and malty and dry aftertaste. A great IPA!. zug4abby (287), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2006 Bottle from Beer_hawk. Pours a clear, golden color with a small head and tiny amount of lacing. Aroma is very mild with a slight (very, very slight) hop hint, but that’s about it. Flavor is astrigent and almost bitter. goes down smooth but very bitter on the palate. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 9, 2006 Thanks Bro (Beer_hawk) for sending this beer. Pours with a golden-orange body topped by a thin head with little lacing. This brew is slightly sweet with a little malt, a grassy hop note and a touch of bitterenss. This brew is lacking in the hops, certainly not aggressive. Meidum bodied and a touch dry. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2006 I could do without the pink bottle. Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Very pils like aroma heavy on wheat and grass. Hops do come out while drinking. Nothing really stands out. More piney than anything else I guess. Pretty mild.
