| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Pours a deep orange color with a medium, foamy white head that settles to a thin film. Sheets of lacing surround the glass. The aroma shows a good malt base of toasted caramel and nougat along with some orange and grapefruit hops in the background. The flavor shows the same with the caramel, biscuit, and orange and grapefruit hops to add bitterness. Not a ton of hops, but just a good flavor. Medium bodied and good bitterness on the backend. I really enjoyed this one. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia

Thick, almost granular mouthfeel. Earthy and past prime or dregsy-tasting. Tastes and smells metallic. as if oxidized. Will re-rate. garthicus (1311), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 20, 2009 Pours a clear gold color with a off white head with little retention. The aroma is light, a bit moldy, a bit yeasty with barley any hop pressence. The flavor has a light sweet malt with a super light pine and some more yeast. The mouthfeel is a about right, oily and light over the tounge with a crisp bitterness... though it doesn’t finish so clean. This wasn’t too bad, but it certainly doesn’t taste or smell like the style too much.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2009 Bottle. This is an underrated IPA, in my opinion. Aroma is relatively mild citrus and piney. Cloudy orange-amber body, decent sized off-white head. Flavor is deliciously balanced. Some malty sweetness, and a nice dose of hoppy bitterness. Very pleasant finish. Altogether an excellently drinkable brew.
