May 16, 2008 Bottle from WFM Raleigh. Pours reddish black with a malty, spicy, spoiled milk aroma. Smooth creamy oatmeal taste with a caramel sweetness lingering in the finish. Fine beer!

May 7, 2008 Pours an attractive dark brown colour with a moderate sized brown head. Sweet aromas of oatmeal, hot cocoa and vanilla. Taste is subtle, toffee, a little bit of roasted malts and black cherries.

Apr 27, 2008 Updated: Feb 15, 2009Pours black with tan head. Smell of roasted malt and coffee/chocolate. Taste is much the same and not over powering. First bottle I had back last year must have been old. Since I have had it a few times and it is good. Highland is good shit.

Apr 22, 2008 Dark almost black color. NOt as much head. Leaves very nice Lacing. Kinda taste some chocolate and Carmel. Alright.
