Commercial Description:
A unique Highland creation, this robust beer is black in color, very malty with hints of chocolate-roasted flavor and a well balanced hop character.

Pours near black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted sweetened coffee. Taste is more of roasty chocolate. Hops are restrained for a lighter finish. Creamy but thin. A decent offering.

Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Smells slightly roasted with a sweet finish to the sniff. Taste is deep and roasty with some nutty and bitter chocolate flavors comming out. A few hops rear their heads but overall a very light and pleasing finish.

Pours a dark brown color with thin head. Aroma is milk chocolate, roasted grain, coffee and a sligt malted milk ball taste. Taste is much the same with a nice bit of hops and a very creamy hearty finish.

Bottle. Dark Brown pour with a light tan head. Aromas of light chocolate and hints of coffee...not a very pungent aroma but not bad either. Flavors of light roasted malt, bakers chocolate and a bit of coffee were present. Pretty thin body and a bit overly carbonated...finishes somewhat dry. Pretty middle of the road all the way around.

Bottle. Pours black with a nice tan head on top. Aroma is full of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is hints of chocolate with coffee and oatmeal coming through. Nice roasty taste. Light hops taste comes in to make the beer not overly sweet. The only thing holding this beer back from being tops is the flavor is a little watered out.

Black. Large head. Mediocre texture. A funky non-clean taste that I liken to dirty pipes.

Bottle; Nose of coffee and roastiness; Clear dark brown, with a small tan head; Flavor of light raosted coffee, light hops, and grainy oatmeal from the medium body, hop bitterness in the finish lasts a long time.

Thin tan head on a brownish black pour. Coffee, malty and toasty aroma. Smooth mouth feel. A nice easy drinking, quaffable porter.
