jrmac (125), USA Jul 10, 2008 Outstanding. Really great mocha, roast malt and coffee flavor. A great brewery. Can’t wait to see what comes from them in the future.
nqualls (185), Tennessee, USA Aug 28, 2008 Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is sweet with chocolate and malt. Flavor is roasty with a bitter chocolate finish. Could stand to be a little more full-bodied. Great beer nonetheless. knights97 (52), Tennessee, USA Aug 27, 2008 Pours to a dark, amber color with a tan head. Aroma is filled with sweetness and hints of chocolate with a moderate body, very smooth, malty beer that is roasted with chocolate malts in it. Goes down easy, another great beer from the boys at Highland carl4beer (263), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA Aug 26, 2008 12 oz. pours black with a tan head. aroma is of roasted malt and some sweetness. mouthful is pretty robust and has good body. FirmButtstone (14), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA Aug 20, 2008 Ok, this beer is overly sweet, very thin with little balance. It is like a decent homebrew extract beer. Overall, It just misses on most areas. Thin mouth feel, sweetness, little body, it is like a extract beer with extra caramel malt added. Seriously, not very good. Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark Aug 17, 2008 Courtesy of Sammy. It’s a dark brow with a red hue and a dense, creamy head. The aroma has ntoes of roasted malt, hops and light coffee and chocolate. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, slightly bitter coffee, light chocolate and a roasted bitterness in the finish. It’s not very full-bodied, but it’s smooth, nice and quite charming.
