Svesse (1700), Hässelby, Sweden Aug 24, 2008 (Cask at GBBF, London, 7 Aug 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of earthy, citrussy hops and hints of honey. Malty taste with initial citrus notes, leading to a solid, slightly sweet and malty middle and leaving with earthy hops in a bittersweet finish. Medium to full body, slightly heavy mouthfeel. Poured a dark copper colour with a thin white head which soon diasppears. Plenty of fruit in the aroma. The taste is plenty of fruit and spice. Several people had this over the 2 days and said it was good. Some fruit. Quite a decent flinty type of beer. Then it was back to the Moor JJJ IPA!!!!
