MiP (6026), Flensburg, Germany Sep 8, 2008 Cask, 6% at GBBF08. Weak fruity aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is quite peppery. OK body, but not much malt flavour to balance the alcohol. Rough alcohol finish. Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden Aug 24, 2008 (Cask at GBBF, London, 7 Aug 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of earthy, citrussy hops and hints of honey. Malty taste with initial citrus notes, leading to a solid, slightly sweet and malty middle and leaving with earthy hops in a bittersweet finish. Medium to full body, slightly heavy mouthfeel. Nice one. Skinnyviking (2726), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 17, 2008 Cask. Low white and quickly disappearing fluffy head. Clear golden body. Hoppy and grassy aroma. Strong and hoppy piney grassy flavor. Low carbonation, long aftertaste. joe1961_2 (425), camberley, Surrey, England Apr 11, 2008 Bottle. Poured a dark copper colour with a thin white head which soon diasppears. Plenty of fruit in the aroma. The taste is plenty of fruit and spice. The high alchol content comes through.
