Commercial Description:
This “shining example” of our spring seasonal has a complex malty body enhanced with traditional spicy noble hops. This Bock is a medium body lager with a smooth, crisp finish. A creamy head tops this fine Bock with the usual Highland twist on style.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of toasted malt and earthy with some peppery splashes. Tastes of light caramel, some appley hints, some spicy hints on the finish.

Bottle from Mike at Coles. Pours copper amber with a thin head. Malty aroma, a hint toasty, with some herbal hops. The flavor is toasty and sweet with toffee and a hint of herbal/spicy hops. Decent.

Bottle, thanks to Mike/Swoopjones @ Cole’s. Copper body, light tan head. Nose is vaguely fecal with roasty malt and crisp hoppiness. Flavor is roasty malt, caramel, a hint of cocoa. Hops come out as does roast in the finish but I can’t get past that nose.

Bottle in trade from ROBORB. Thanks dude! Pours clear and amber with a beige head. Smell is nutty, fruity and malty. Taste is nutty, with a date like sweetness, some dustiness and toasty and tartness as well. Medium to full body with soft to medium carbonation. Pretty good for the style, I thought.

Pours a nice amber color with a thin tan head. Good caramel malt aroma. Taste is smooth with a sweet malt, caramel, toasted malt taste. Easy drinking beer that went down way too fast.

12oz bottle-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is light/medium malt-some almost caramel, medium fruit, slight musty. Taste is medium malt-caramel/toffee, secondary spice/herbal hops, some wood. Could be an Oktoberfest or Bock style lager. Thanks decaturstevo for picking this out.

Bottle Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Deep amber/orange body that supports a long lasting off-white head. Light malt aroma. Toasty. A light bitterness on the front end quickly fades to a velvety dryness. Good body.
