Soft citrusy grapefruit peel and melon hop flavors balance on a kiss of sweet caramel and pale biscuity malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, crisp, bittersweet finish. Jul 28, 2008 Bottle. Lightly hop scent, with some herbal and hay smells. Flavor is really lighter than I like in an APA, but clean and without flaws. A bit bubbly, would go well with spicy food.

Jul 11, 2008 Refreshing in scent and appearance. Nice floral boquet. Clean and crisp, not as bittingly bitter as some pales. Clean as a whistle. I’d almost consider this to be more like an Alt. This would be the beer to drink in the spring/summer, not the Shining Rock Lager, though that is good also.
