Hot somehow, with a hint of peach and molasses. Messy licks of citrus. Taste is heavy and oak laden, big and malty. Strangely big. Hints of iron, dirty maple syrup and a bit of grapefruit. Finishes long with a dark sweetness and a metal edge. Hard to place. Medium bodied palate , lacking clarity. May be just old enough that it tastes different than it’s meant to, though not in a completely bad way just yet. Thanks Steve! jlruthven (137), Milledgeville, Georgia, USA

Pours hazy light orange with overtones of brown, finger thick head that dissipates but doesn’t disappear completely. Explosion of peaches as I poured it into the glass, faint hints of pine and lemon. Taste is unexceptional, with oranges and more peach. The hops could and should definitely be more present here, and touch of malty sweetness would have been welcomed. All in all, not a bad everyday brew. I’d buy it again. Palidor19 (1792), Brandon, Florida, USA

Light pale fruits and caramel with mild citrus hop notes, make up the aroma. The body is a light orange/yellow and holds a lasting white head. Sweet caramel malt and fruit notes. Low hop bitterness. Mild floral notes int he finish. A lighter sweeter version fo their IPA pretty much. adrian910ss (1435), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a medium white head. Aroma of honey lemon tea, faint floral hops and a hint of malt. Taste is tea-ish with hints of honey and lemon and a slight malty backbone. Nice. bubbleflubber (898), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 31, 2007 Very reminiscent of an IPA-light. Pours orange-tea into the glass, with a sudsy head, great retention and lace. The nose is spot on for pine hop and resin. The mouthfeel is lighter on this than an IPA, predominantly due to the lack of a substantial malt body. However, there are definite grapefruit and citrus flavors, and there is a very nice pine hop finish that lingers just perfectly on the palate. This is crisp and zesty, going down quite well on this hot summer night. A definite unique take on the style, and the flavors and palate both "seem" to do ok individually, but don’t integrate well together. Palate feels very thin... not watery, just thin.
