| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 10, 2007 Poured into a pilfered Altitude glass from Laramie, Wyoming. Clear to slightly cloudy golden color with little to no head. At first sip I thought my wife sabotaged my beer with her hairspray as this brew seemed much closer to an IPA than an APA. The nose is invigorated with a pleasant amount of Chinook hops. St. Tereses is dry and a bit nutty. It begins a little sweet but finishes very bitter and strong. Just another hoppy ale. Toodles. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2007 Bottled - Pours your typical amberish yellow with a frothy white head... prominent lacing.. Aroma is fresh picked hops...Cascade?.. Taste is a smooth hoppy flavor with a good malt balance and a little hops bite on the back end... Standard APA.. nearbeer (1884), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 30, 2007 Updated: Feb 13, 2007Bottle in pint glass. Small, tightly beaded head leaves little lacing atop a clear gold, with slight copper-tinges. Mild, enticing hop-citrus/evergreen nose doesn’t seem to last long enough, makes me want more. Aroma largely the same, making it easily drinkable and satisfying. Ending is good balance of malt sweet and hops, with bitter finally winning out, and leaving a nutty aftertaste that seems to cleanse the tongue for the next swig. Some would call it unbalanced to the hoppy side, but I like it like dat! BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2007 Bottle and served in a blessed pint glass: Pours a clean golden hue with a small but lasting foam that left very good lacing. The aroma has notes of grapefruity and piney hops esters, floral notes, biscuity malts, and some pepper. The taste displays the hops but in a milder quiet way which works for a starter beer. Clean and refreshing with just a moderate malt background. The mouth feel has a quick sharp bite then quickly cleans up leaving just a note of metallic aftertaste. The beer is good and drinkable. Nothing super as it is a standard APA but does display enough hop to keep you from getting bored. I enjoyed this more than expected and bet this works well on a hot humid summer day in North Carolina.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 14, 2007 This is a very mild pale. Some bitterness on the back end. Some floral aromas but the character and complexity in all of it leave off a lot. Maltiness balances what sparseness there is to the hops and makes it a smooth drink. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA
