Dec 29, 2006 Bottle, July 2006. A pleasant, easy drinking APA. Reasonable amounts of leafy, grapefruit hop character but there’s a decent soft malt backbone too. Not a particularly big beer but nicely quaffable.

Dec 28, 2006 CLoudy straw colored pour with a bubbly white head that fades. A small amount of piney hops on the nose. Medium bodied with active carbonation. A lot of floral/piney hop bitterness from start to finish.

Dec 17, 2006 Bottle thanks to Suttree. Hazy straw-colored body, medium dense off-white head. Sharp piney, citrusy hops aroma. Bready malt body with modest grassy, citrusy hops. Quaffable but the problem is there isn’t much to stimulate the palate here. Just a ho-hum beer, the kind of recipe that you follow if Trent Dilfer is your brewer.

Dec 3, 2006 golden yellow pour, avg head. aroma isn’t too complex, actually smelling a bit salty and hoppy. flavor: grapefruit (also in the nose), salt, pretzel, hops. leafy/earthy palate. leaves a short to medium length finish with a grainy slightly bittersweet aftertaste. pleasant, but not a favourite. why can’t they just call it the hippy pale ale?
