Ok nose, sweet. orange & pineapple, apple cider, little nutty sour too. Tad hazed brownish orange color. Small head that faded quickly to a ring, ok lacing. Bittersweet flavor, like aroma with the citrus taking on a more grapefruity taste. Nutty, cidery, honey, caramel. Medium body, lite creamy mouthfeel, bittersweet finish. Nice brew, has a little of a flavor/scent I’m not crazy about, but have got to like more than a few years ago. Thanks ross! RCL (1496), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA

The aroma is floral but lacking. Same with the flavor. Smooth, I could go for more "assertive American hop flavor". A boring pale ale but no flaws stand out. I would call this one swill-drinkers delight. eboats (901), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is grassy hops with some orange and lemon notes. Body is watery with a dry finish. Flavor is sweet and then switches to fruit peels with light apple notes and a slight grass hop finish. shrubber85 (3013), Wallhalben, Germany

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2006 Pours bright golden with a thin wispy white head. Aroma of light grapefruit, honey malt, and resinous pine. Taste is hoppy with lightly toasted malt. Notes of citrus and pine. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly resinous with soft carbonation. Simple and easy to drink, but not terribly exciting. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 7, 2006 Pours an amber color with a thin white head after an aggessive pour. Aroma is initially apple like and malty but there is definitely a hop presence in there as well. Flavor is a well balanced combo of piney hops and apple juice like malt presence. Definitely an easy to drink session style APA. timtheenchanta (70), Clemson, South Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Golden slightly hazy liquid with thin head and a little bit of lacing. Citrusy hops and some bready malt. Good citrusy hop oil flavor with doughy malt balancing out this great beer. Dry smooth bitter finish. Good hop taste on the palate. This beer is a great APA.
