Commercial Description:
A golden pale having a slightly malty body balanced by an assertive American hop flavor. This pale ale displays a delicate hop nose due to the process of dry hopping with whole leaf Cascade. A crisp and refreshing beer perfect for any occasion.

12 oz bottle thanks to emacgee. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is nice caramel malts, smooth hops, and some light lemony citrus. A similarly smooth flavor dominated by easygoing citrus hops, spices and caramel malts. A nice session brew.

On tap at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours clear gold with an off-white head. Nose is sweet grass, hay, lemon, and light citrus. Hints of light fruit and somewhat biscuity malt are everywhere. Flavor is malty, biscuity, and bitter hops to finish off. Light to medium body and a nice starter beer.

Pours amber with some suspended particles. Thick beige head lingers for a while and leaves good lace. Orange aroma with caramel. Taste is medium hop bite but nothing overly bitter. Also has good caramel balance that smooths it out.

Grassy, floral aroma. Somewhat watery with a sharp, hoppy aftertaste. A decent session beer.

She poured a freshly squeezed orange brilliance into my glass while a soft head of tightly packed bubbles glisten and shine before fading away into a ring around the sides of my glass. She puffs up nicely but no discernable lace is to be found anywhere. A gentle breeze carries an aroma of fresh oranges, grapefruit, and lemon which melt into a warm presence of freshly baked bread, grains, and hay. Adding a tinge of sweetness are whispers of honey and melon. Quite the impressive nose for a pale ale, and wasting no time less I disrespect her holiness, I partake of the first of many quaffs. A much thinner mouthfeel and body then her nose certainly implied with twice as much lemon which meshes nicely with a blossoming field of spring grass. Even though her body is thinner than I would like, her presence is balanced by a surprising effervescence which sparkles with honey, sweet grains, and melon. It may have been my bottle, but the further I traveled with St. Terese, a growing sour lemon funk crept into the aftertaste, souring her finish in a not-so-good way. Thin and dry while faint grass and fruit esters fade into a watery finish of sour bitter lemon funk.

A wee bit more meat and get rid of the sour lemon funk and St. Terese’s Pale Ale would have been perfect. She wasn’t bad, but her few detriments definitely detracted from my overall enjoyment. Not one of the better offerings from Highland Brewing, I feel our lady St. Terese might be disappointed. May her blessings be on their next beer, instead.

Dont know what it looks like, i drank it from the bottle, but Im sure it was atypical of of other APA’s. Smelled of some juicy citrus hops and pine. Light overall. very crisp nice hop bite in the flavor, with some grapefruit and piney notes. Very refreshing as I drank it ice cold. Little hop bitterness and malty background in the finish. Decent little session beer.
