It is sweet like caramel to balance the hops. The appearance is golden with an amber hue and an average head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall this is a winner. I want to drink this often. DerBiermeister (524), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2008 This hardly smells at all. The appearance is light and cloudy, with a minimal head. The flavour is (too) hoppy for my taste, with mild notes of malt. The palate is simple and unpretentious. Not bad - just fine. zappafan99 (463), South Carolina, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 5, 2008 Bottle picked up in Cary-NC. Poured a nice amber with a simmering head and not much lacing. Pale with hops and malts that produces a caramel flavor to the pallet. Subtle easy drinking flavor, not above and beyond but a good refreshing beer. punkrkr27 (649), Berkley, Michigan, USA
