Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 30, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Orange and unclear, very classical appearance for a German wheat. Fruity and quite bitter for a wheat. 250404 JorisPPattyn (4691), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 6, 2003 Yellow to peach coloured, hazy; thick, very dense white-yellowish head, collapsing. Nose is clovey, bit of banana too. Spicy, fruity. Very clear wheat taste, little acidity - but again, no real character. Light to medium-bodied. Wheat is palatable. Run-of-the-mill, uninspiring. About as exciting as their Pils. jbrus (4350), Delft, Netherlands Oct 10, 2001 lacks the banana smell. a bit sour and finishes a little sweeter. pivnizub (4181), Porúří, Germany Feb 23, 2007 Bottle: Slightly hazy, visible carbonation, smaller stable fluffy white head; bananas and oranges in the moderate sweet-fruity nose; mild sweetish flavour, medium bodied; sweetish-fruity finish, mixed with a very light acidity an an even lighter tartness in the aftertaste. Pleasant and refreshing, but a bit one-dimensional....... leaparsons (4180), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Mar 17, 2002 A little too typical of the weiise style. Nothing special but still commendable.
