Slick (1956), Minnesota, USA Mar 18, 2008 Nice golden color, small white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind. The aroma was mildly malty with some hints of fruit in there along with a hint of corn, maybe. The flavor was decent and smooth but low on flavor.Mildly sweet malty flavor upfront then it turns to a mild bitterness in the middle with a slight hoppy bitterness in the end.A bit of a disappointment on the flavor side, but i do have to say it has a certain thirst queching side that would go well on a hot day of yard work.Over all it’s little more then a less then middle of the road brew.
SHIG (1506), Oberoffligen, Germany Aug 4, 2008 Draught: Poured a golden color with a thick white color head. The aroma is hoppy. The taste is sweet with grass, finished witrh a nice hoppy bite. jsquire (1863), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Jul 13, 2008 Golden straw colored beer with a substantial fizzy white head. Nose has some grassy hops, honey sweetness and a hint of skunk. Lemon grass, home made bread, some honey sweetness, and a bitter finish with more grassy hops. Better with food. SpudClampDawg (920), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jul 8, 2008 16.9oz bottle: Clear honey-colored pour with a healthy white head that quickly builds and just as quickly fades into a pencil thin ring. The nose is faint, with far reaching notes of dough, honey and grain. Grassy hops take the reigns in the body, overpowering what little malt definition there is. Finishes with hoppy notes of wet grass and pine. Kind of one dimensional, but with no real off flavors. A decent pils that needs more malt definition to rise the ranks. armando629 (389), Budapest, Hungary Jul 3, 2008 Golden color with a nice white head. Aroma of hop, yeast, malt. Nice body with a little grassy hop, nice malt and yeast flavor. Radek Kliber (3309), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 30, 2008 Bottle 500ml
Appearance: decent looking , straight golden brew with good , bright white top. Fine lace was shown. 4- Nose: Good set up made of aromatic hops. 7- Flavor/Palate : Slightly dry Pils with high carbonation. Thinner and softer finish. Felt a bit washed up.
