condrusek99 (15), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Oct 3, 2001 A very good tasting beer. Specially in a Garden with a Schweinsbraten and Sauerkraut and the sunn shinning. A very excellent refreshing beer. Martyn (15), Bushey, England Jun 9, 2005 A fine example of a Bohmian Pilsner. An initial sweetness is followered by a delicarte harmonious bitterness on the palate. When drunk at its ideal drinking temperature of 8oc, the flavour is full of sweetness and many hoppy aromas come to the fore. Very soft and full bodied too (down to the alpine spring water). I can even drink it warm! dazzler (1), Leeds, England does not count Jun 9, 2005 Great purchase! The bottle is extremely appealing, and thankfully there is a taste to match. The taste was very refreshing, apparently the beer uses spring water which probably is the reason for this. Unfortunately cant find this beer in many places in England, but if more people taste this great pilsener im sure this will change soon. NobleSquirrel (749), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 3, 2007 a very tasty malty pilsener, light hops, very much a biscuit beer. nice, though I hardly find it to be a Bohemian style... Frank (1062), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 20, 2003 Nice strong hop aroma. A touch of skunk at first but it's gone in a split second. Weak carbonation is more than compensated for by spicy hops. A thin ring of foam lingers throughout. A bit watery as far as texture goes but still pleasant enough. Golden color but very nearly clear. In general hops dominate the flavor but some sweet malts come out in the finish to round things out. Despite some flaws in appearance and palate along with the initial skunky aroma, I can't help but love this. I'm adjusting the overall impression to compensate for the points it lost elsewhere.
