Commercial Description:
"Extreme Brew" Fresh hop version. A Premium Craft beer brewed in search of a new true flavor. We have used 1.2 times the normal amount of Maris Otter Malt, which is called the pinnacle of malts, for a rich taste. We have also added that difficult to find German hop, Safir, flown in fresh to add bitterness and aroma. We then aged this beer in cedar barrels in the traditional way.

Very fruity ale. Full body. Golden color. Cedar taste lingers but I don’t know how much it shapes the beer.

Very dark brown with orange and a fluffy off-white head. Strong caramel aroma, with lots of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), some chocolate, dark fruits (raisins) and a hint of cedar. Spicy caramel malt flavor. Rich and sweet with a hard bitter finish. Some dried figs, but no cedar. Rich palate. Spicy like their XH or Celebration, but the label lists no spices. Very interesting and satisfying. Very much an English-style brown ale.
