Pours a hazy golden bronze with a nicely-lacing thin white head. Aroma has a light caramel malty presence and a good mild cedar woody presence with some earthy bitter hop balance. Body starts with a nice malty sweetness revealing a drier woody, earthy bittering hoppiness finishing slightly warming and complex. A unique and enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-orange color with a large rocky white head, nice lacing. Aroma is pine, malt, spicy. Flavor is pine, malt, grapefruit, orange. Palate is medium bodied, highly carbonated, dry bitter finish. I enjoyed this, not great but solid.

beer explodes out of the bottle, a massively hazy amber-orange full of chunks ripped from the bottom of the bottle. big orange head retains well, laces fine. cedar is far and away the most prominent note in the nose, with the pine being nicely complimented by some hop spiciness. beer flavor is extra-dry, with initial malt flavor (lightly toasty) fading fast in big wood flavors, and closed off completely by some puckering hop flavor and bitterness. too fizzy to drink well, but a suprisingly balanced and drinkable beer none-the-less.

Smells like orange PEZ candy and an english bitter combined. Pours a hazy orange, thin head. Flavor is interesting, lots of sweet citrus at the start, then a wonderfully hoppy midsection, and a long, bitter and malty ending. Hides it’s alcohol extremely well.

Out of all the crappy beers we drank that night from aurstralasia, this had a unique flavor. Definitely hoppy but weird cheese/yogurt flavor.

From bottle. Pours a hazy orange with big, foamy, off whtie head. Nose is cedar, and lots of it, with an underlying fruitcake like spice. Flavor is mildly sweet, orangy syrup and nicely mild bitter finish. Interesting take on an IPA.

Bottle. Not your normal IPA aroma. Bread and cedar wood are present. Cloudy copper color body with off white head and some floaters moving around in the pint glass. Dry mild fruit flavor that was somewhat sour and tangy citrus. Sour yeasty bite but seemed to have enough balance to not be overwhelming. Dry on the palate maybe good to have a water or swill wash after this one.
