Very little carbonation. Sour predominated for most of it - even over the sweetness, although it does get a little sweet at the end. One dimensional. Odd. Points for experimenting.

Pours a dark opaque rust/brown color with a very small head. Aroma is pleasant but undenialibly a slightly strange. Not necessarily bad strange, just strange. Smells bitter and sour, like milk that has gone slightly south. Flavor is roasted and not as sweet as expected. Taste some chocolate, especially on the swallow. Body is medium. I actually enjoyed this beer but would not drink it everyday. Worth a try.

Dark cloudy brown. Sweet and slightly tart aroma with hints of light chocolate. The body is lightly tart with some roast and chocolate. Again, a beer from this brewery that tastes as if it's gone. Nice flavors behind the tartness though.

Dark black color with a nice head and lacing. The aroma is mild and almost non-detectable. Flavor is dry and milky, light roasty stout flavors, not too bad. The finish is mild. This is a good stout, just an interesting mouthfeel.

Pours dark brown with reddish edges, light head that left quickly, no lace. Coffee aroma, some chocolate, and a bitter sour aroma under it all. Hrm, this is a bit odd. Standard roast flavors, coffee and some chocolate, but that sourness is coming out a bit more. It's almost undetectable, but the sourness is not very delectable.

(750ml bottle) Thin, quick dissipating, almond head and near opaque body. Bitter nose. Bitter chocolate taste.

A milky mosaic displays fruity, vinous portraits...A roasty frame holds the berries together...Another Hitachino which is hard to categorize...Thanks Radek!!...
