Strange aroma of rice, fruits, nut, spices, and cream that gives it a simulated aroma of alcohol even thought it’s only 3.8% abv. The flavor found coffee, bitter chocolate, and cocoa powered. Medium body that is dry and bitter sweet. Not a favorite. Petrucci914 (601), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma is chocolate, and sour milk. Taste is blue cheese up front (thanks for pointing that out, bro) with a odd cardboard quality and a bit of chocolate. The aftertaste is about the only good thing about this. Meh. Juelze (923), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2008 From a bottle almost 8 months old. They recommend up to 4 months’ aging for a “ripe, full flavor.” Black, with a medium, fine, tan head. Fragrant aroma of roasted malt, hops, sweet fruits, cream. Very complex nose, though something a little off can be found there as well. Rounded roasted malt flavor, very fruity. Sweet and creamy, balanced by hops and roasted barley and with a sour touch but definitely on the sweet side. Medium to light body, rather refreshing and crisp. Dark fruits, chocolate, a touch of coffee. Sweet-and-sour, fruity finish that is creamy and slightly burnt. Interesting, though a little strange. Enjoyable but 1 should be enough.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a brown body with a light brown head. Light sweet milk lacto sweetness. A hint of chocolate and a note of roastiness but dominated by the pure sweetness of this darkie. Not etoh to notice. Just a simple milk stout. buzzoven (333), Japan
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Dark (but nowhere near dark enough) ruby brown body; very little head. Muted nose of cream and milk. This has a thin and oily mouthfeel and no bite. Aftertaste is a big dissapointment...stale and sour. Not too enjoyable.
