330 ml bottle. Dark amber. Cloudy from lots of small floaties. Five months after the BBD. Small coarse off-white head. Light nutty malt aroma. Crisp hoppy flavours. A definitive note of juniper, likely from the hops. Surprisingly rich with a lot of malt for a pale ale. Heavy on the caramel malts. American citrusy hops. Smooth texture balanced by a crisp hop bitterness. Finish is on the dry and bitter side. Quite nice, but a bit unusual for a pale ale.

Cloudy pale amber, frothy head. Light roasted breads and sweet raisin nose. Bitter orange opening, even moreso as it finishes. Tart and dry. Not as sweet and fruity as the Americans. More herbal. Lingering palate.
