Nov 22, 2007 I love Reed’s non-alcoholic ginger beer. This has a lot of the same strong ginger flavor in a mildly malty beer....delicious.

Nov 12, 2007 Ginger and sweet malt aroma. Clear dark orange color with some floaters. Small tan head with mild lacing. Starts with a moderate amount of ginger. Finishing with a sweet and silky. Ginger comes back in the after taste.

Oct 26, 2007 Bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty-looking orange-copper with a spare diminishing off-white head and plenty of sediment -- kind of flat looking. Mild aroma of light ginger, caramel malt and citrus. Flavour of ginger, caramel malt, yeast and spices. Some alcohol in the lightly bitter, slightly astringent finish. Average bodied. Decent but doesn’t do much for me.

Oct 12, 2007 deep amber color with a dense beige head. lightly spicy and gingery aroma, with more typical sweet malt and some resinous hops behind. spicy, but not hot-smelling - surprisingly inviting. flavor is much like the aroma, very interesting! no ginger "heat" but the flavor has clearly been imparted. really more of a candied ginger flavor than spice. fairly attenuated as a bit of alcohol is present and not much residual sweetness. quite a fun beer!

Oct 7, 2007 this brew manages to present a great ginger flavor without seeming artificial or barely perceptible. The japanese surely know how to work the ginger. Would make a great brew with your sushi or even a wintertime brew served slightly warmer.

Oct 3, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours a cloudy orange with a nice tan head. Aroma of ginger, malts, and some spices. Flavor is similar to aroma with a nice citrus aftertaste.

Oct 1, 2007 09 Sept 07. 330mL bottle, 7% ABV. Dark amber color. Thin tan head. Smells like a spicy gingerbread cookie. YUM. Malty flavors finished with sharp bitter ginger spicyness. Big flavors of freshly ground ginger. Spicy, light-medium body. Alcohol well hidden (7%?)

Sep 27, 2007 Pours a cloudy brown with a nice fizzy head that dissapates quickly. Looks like a good Belgian ale. The aroma has the ginger, with hints of orange and lighter malts. The flavor has some hops, but it’s mainly sweet and silky, with a really cool spicy ginger finish. This is a pretty cool beer... my first good Japanese beer, actually. I want to check out the other beers they have to offer.
