Hazy orange brown body with a large creamy head that rapidly vanishes. Ginger bite in the first sip with a nice spicy flavor on a malty body. Yeasty body, slightly thin. Not bad. Once things finally settled down into the glass, it was hazy orange with a ring of fine white. Dried ginger candy aroma blended harmoniously with a cedar/wool aroma, that to my nose, really seems brett influenced. A bit of grape jelly in there. Initial flavor is a rather sharp ginger bite, but after a few sips, the flavors blend and there is a more cohesive center. Prickly ginger on the tongue, suprisingly low carbonation for all the fireworks when I openned the bottle. Ginger bite and marmalade sweetness make a nice contrast, and give the impression of a dry finish. Nice beer. scraff (1946), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Nice sweet earthy ginger nose that fades into soft peppered lychee and floral orangey tones. Ginger flavor up front, but further warming brings out more fruity sweet peppery notes. Faint cedar adds to the fun. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry gingery finish. A great refreshing summer brew and a nice change of pace. Well done for this style... robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2007 11.2oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a small white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma full of ginger and citrus with an underlying malt sweetness. Taste is the same with a ginger and citrus aftertaste. Finishes dry and bitter. Very different but quite enjoyable. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Apr 1, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated light brown colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was spicy and ginger. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of ginger. A horrible one that I would not buy again. Way to much ginger in it horrible yucky pass on this one for sure!
