Turbid orange in color w/ a head of small to medium bubbles that leave behind the occasional splotch of lace. The nose is tangerine sweetness and a bit of pair along w/ a twinge of pine--all of which I will attribute to ginger. The flavor mostly follows w/ a pleasant tartness, mostly dry w/ a twinge of vegetable bitterness in the finish (again the ginger). Mouth feel is light and forcefully carbonated but still it comes across neither watery nor thin--very Belgian in this respect. I’m a sucker for ginger so I rather like this though for those whom the novelty of a ginger flavored beer means less, it might not be as appealing.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits Orlando. <P> Body is a murky orange tinted brown with a fluffy white, diminishing thumb thick head. <P> Aroma is chinese baby corn, white fruit and a suggestion of canned pineaple, but it smells artificial and forced. <P> Fore is spicy ginger, sweet malt, something approaching cinnamon and fruit. The finish is medicinal and gerbal and very unsatisfying. I just can’t drink this.

POurs a nice hazy brown. Aroma is sweet and malty, slight spice. Flavor is initially fruity, then spicy (though nothing screams "ginger"), followed by a nice grassy finish. Very subdued and quaffable.

deep brown. opaque. more refreshing aroma. more ginger ale than ginger. some mint aroma. jesus. really gingery taste. tastes like medicine.

11.2 oz bottle. Hazy orange brown color with bubbly tan head. Smells of dried fruit (fig and cherry), a dash of light malty brown sugar, and alcohol. I never would have known that it had been brewed with ginger. Very malty, fruity flavor with a sweet finish. Was hoping for more ginger.

one of the better spice/herb/veg beers. the ginger is just the right amount sexy malted, almost like eating that crystalized ginger without the bite, drinkable

Pours deep copper color with thin white head. Aroma spices, pineapples, some hops. Taste is mildly spicy, some cane sugar-like flavors, some bitterness. Clean finish. Ginger not overpowering.

Ginger snaps and pineapple marmelade nose. Palate is a little too soft with mild astingency, probably from the ginger root. Spicy, herbal and sweet. acid, astringent finish.
