Ginger snaps and pineapple marmelade nose. Palate is a little too soft with mild astingency, probably from the ginger root. Spicy, herbal and sweet. acid, astringent finish.

This spiced ale pours a deep brown color from a 330ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head, dense and long lasting. Aroma is malty and caramel, sweet and spicy with mostly ginger but some nutmeg as well. A medium bodied ale. Malts are caramel and sweet, bready and biscuty. And then there is the ginger and other spices. Tastes like a liquid gingerbread cookie with some alcohol on the top. Perhaps a touch too much ginger, but all in all a very interesting beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

330 ml bottle into a Snifter style glass. Pours an orangeybrown color with a off off white to tanned brown head that tends to be foamy for the whole glass. Aroma smells of ginger candy, oranges, and pineapples. The flavor brings a nicely done malt forward front continuing with the orange peel and pineappley nose which presents itself through a steady mouthfull of balanced ginger taste with a carmalized back to it. Very well balanced and medium bodied. Nothing is too strong in one area. I was rather impressed actually. A nice candied flavor coats the palate when finished! Yum!

$3.79 for a 330 mL bottle. The beer pours to a hazy coppery brown body with a lasting tall airy cola looking head. The aroma is dry and grassy with ginger and pumpkin seeds. The flavor is caramelly, ginger, buttery cookie, orange oil. The palate is warming, nicely carbonated, spicy, oily.

(33cl bottle) Enormous off-white head atop lightly hazed deep amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, ginger, caramel, light herbal. Taste is medium sweet, ginger, herbal, caramel/cookie, some orange. Light-medium body, some effervescence, no sign of the significant alcohol.

Bottle. Pours a relatively hazy copper color with a smallish white head. Aroma says ginger as does the taste. It was really too much for me. I found the ginger to be over-whelming.

Bottle: Cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma had some carboard, ginger, and citrusy notes. Flavor, citrus and ginger, some spice to it as well. The bottle I had was probably a little on the old side, but it wan’t bad.

Bottle sample with Peanut at Dilly Deli. Poured hazy amber with an average frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate complex spice, citrus and ginger aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
