Very tastey. It begins with a wierd red color. Sure the its a "REd rice ale", but really a full reddish pink beer? Almost looks like a raspberry wheat with more brown and less yellow. Nice billowing head. Aroma is a little like dirty socks, wheat grass, yeast, and deli meat. Wierd look, weird smell, what about hte taste? A lot of sake flavors. A lot of non-beer, but its good.

Beautiful, slightly-cloudy, orangey-pink colour. Not much head and didn’t last very long. Not much aroma. Interesting taste...almost what you’d expect fermented rice to taste like, but not bad and, as expected, is most prominent during the first sip or two. After that, very subtle. Not very carbonated. Fairly dry finish, as with a lot of Japanese beers. Overall, an easy drinking beer. If a bar had this on tap I’d order pints of it all night long.

Pours a dusty cloudy pink with a half inch off white pinkish head. Sweet fruit and berry candy aroma. Some tingly carbonation on the tongue. Notes of sweet cinnamon and orange blossom honey pleasantly juxtaposed with a light tartness, a slight hint of vinegar, some yeast and some hints of sake. A personal favorite. Excellent!

Aroma is very lacking, almost non-existent, Slight cherry, I guess some rice. Pour is a beautiful red with a lacking head. Odd ricey flavor, kind of sake, with a decent fruitiness and a bit of syrupy molasses. Tasty and different.

Nose is candied malt, a hops presence and some fruity scent too, cloudy orange, small off-white head. Taste has apricot, peach, cherry, wheat and yeast.Medium bodied, very well balanced, tart, refreshing, lovely beer. The best rice beer I’ve tried!

Pours hazy red with white head. Very sweet spicy aroma with a grainy bittery finish.

a cloudy beer with a reddish/pink hue. strong alcoholic aroma with green olives, plastic, cedar, and liquor. flavor is mostly alcohol. tastes of booze and plastic. minimal hints of hops in finish. maybe some cedar, ginger(some kind of spice), and grapefruit. i just can’t get into this one. i have to admit though, that it gets better as i worked my way through the bottle. sweeter. i appreciate it’s uniqueness. delicate and different just not my thing.
