| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 23, 2007 What a singularly odd beer. First of all, it was red, verging on pink, with ever-so-slightly pink head. Aroma was rice, I guess, ginge, canned peas - at least, that’s what I could pick out. Flavor was, um, a little of this, a little of that - rice and ginger, an odd tartness, some vegetal, some herbal. Weird beer. JAF737300 (801), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2007 This is a nice effort by the brewery. I love the deep red color and the head is quite thick. I sense a nice hint of rice in the palate that blends nicely into a bitter finish. labandita (5), USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 21, 2007 This beer was weird. Not in a bad way; it was just very different. The red rice flavor wasn’t anything that I’m used to. It was a very interesting thing to try, but there are plenty of other beers I’d rather drink, and I don’t think I’ll ever buy it again. Veer (355), Landskrona, Sweden

Aroma: nice & musty hops, sourish...incredibly good...like a good vienna with birdcherry, slightly chemical...alcohol...slightly balsam vinegar-like.
Appearance: orange pink & clear w/ vaguely rosetinted white head.
Flavour: wonderfully balanced, toasted, nutty sweet, mild pears, a sourish bitterness...dry aftertaste, slightly vinous...vienna.
Palate: champagne, dry and fantastic, leaves a smooth feeling in the mouth.
The last glass is thick, red like a kriek, light pink head, sweeter and berrier.
