Bottle poured a clear light reddish amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of bread, starch, yeast and light fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of rice, yeast and light fruittiness with a smooth fruity finish.

Bottle: Herbal and spicy, no rice flavor. Dry hoppy character. Food Pairing: Nice to complement ginger and wasabi.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with reddish pinkish hues. Almost shimmering. Mild aroma, not picking up too much here. Taste was pretty dull, some sweetness, the sushi chef at seabar said he could taste the red rice & gave me a pretty cool history on red rice vinegar. Interesting but not not too complex. Drinkable & would have again

Pours a hazy brownish golden with little head. Aroma is tart, fruity with notes of brine. Flavor is tart, fruity, with some flavors my palette can’t identify. Very different.

On draft at Pizza Paradiso (DC): Subtle malt complexity to this moderately carbonated ale. Some caramel and rhubarb notes with smooth lager-like hop crispness at finish.

This beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing near the top of the glass. Toasted malt, grain and a bit of medicine and olives in the nose. Light body with flavors of citrus, rice and grain. Dirty martini notes in the taste too. The finish is grainy with a short malty aftertaste. Not terrible, but I couldn’t enjoy it much.
