Aug 6, 2009 Bottle poured a clear light reddish amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of bread, starch, yeast and light fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of rice, yeast and light fruittiness with a smooth fruity finish.

Taste was pretty dull, some sweetness, the sushi chef at seabar said he could taste the red rice & gave me a pretty cool history on red rice vinegar. Interesting but not not too complex. Jul 14, 2009 This beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing near the top of the glass. Toasted malt, grain and a bit of medicine and olives in the nose. Light body with flavors of citrus, rice and grain. Dirty martini notes in the taste too. The finish is grainy with a short malty aftertaste. Not terrible, but I couldn’t enjoy it much.
