Pour: 330 mL bottle to Duvel tulip. Pour starts out clear gold, but as soon as the yeast at the bottom of the bottle splashes in, the beer attains an attractive grapefruit-tinged goldenrod color. The head is modest and pure white. Retention and lacing are average. Nose: Strawberry candy, artificial sweetener, melting plastic, citrus, and wheat. Intriguing but ultimately weird and ’off.’ Mouth: Flavor is citrusy with some mild berry notes, some peppery spicing, and an earthy finish with a light bitterness. Carbonation is a bit coarse and there’s a bit too much of it. Body is just about right; not too delicate and not too heavy. Finish is dry from astringency. Interesting beer but not something I’m going to revisit.

From a 11.2 oz bottle purchased locally. Aroma is a little green appley and a little yeast. Pale yellow gold that is a little cloudy with some yeast from the bottle. Big foamy white head that has staying power. Flavor is fruity with more apples and yeast. Bread dough malt flavors. Rice character comes through in the finish and keep the beer very dry. High carbonation. This would be a refreshing summer beer.

(bottle - 330 ml) Cloudy grapefruit color with a very thin white head that disappears. Light carbonation. Aroma is very potent. Rather medicinal at the beginning with a light hint of toasted malts underneath that. The more you swirl, the more rice notes come out. Flavor is tart and bitey at the beginning with that same medicinal hint, very light rice notes, citrus, and some lightly toasted malts. Finishes warm with the alcohol. Very different.

Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. THe nose is sour, rotten, fruity, medicinal. Flavor is like cough syrup, can’t drink.

What kind of rating is that Kamish you schmuck, put some effort into the thing. Cloudy orange color with a minimal white head. Toasted grain and floral nose. Pretty thick body and decent lasting finish. Toasted grain, bread, and wheat flavors with a hint of some citrus. Drinkable but nothing incredibly memorable.

Bottle. Tart fruity aroma. Light reddish golden body, small head. Flavor is tart, sweet-sour, somewhat medicinal. Very unusual.

Bottle from College Liquors in Grand Junction, CO. Pours a clear orange color with a thick and soft pillowy head. An amazing nose, very powerful, vinous, somewhat sour and yeast. Very nice. The mouthfeel is fizzy and soft, but very full. The flavor was citrus, orange peel, grainy rice, no alcohol at all. Very interesting and unique. Very nice.
