| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2008 As I’ve noted many times before, I love the experience of trying traditional ales. Thus I rate this beer in that context. The aromaq had a very sour quality to it, with a strong contingent of rice. The appearance is a beautiful red color, small white head. The flavor had a very grainy quality to it, and was sour as well. The finish was dry, and again sour. Interesting, but I wouldn’t get it again. McGarnigle (316), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Stubby bottle. Slightly hazy orange-amber color. Smells sweet/sour to me. Taste is somewhere among beer, sake, cider and wine spritzer, but ultimately closest to beer. Fruity, sweet and tangy with a grainy background. Spritzy carbonation and fairly crisp overall, but not too light. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2008 Warm orange-honey with small off-white head. Fresh, slight lactic tartness bordering on Berliner weisse. Roasted brown rice, loquat rinds and lemon zest. Soft mouthfeel. Fun array of flavors! Lots of orange blossom and its zest with great yeast character. sebletitje (1978), Tampa, Florida, USA

Aroma rice, fruity.
Taste rice notes, sugary, very different and unique taste with a mix of rice and floral hops.
Taste has an almost medicinal feel.
Not a top favorite, but really something different. movezig (137), Pensacola, Florida, USA

Got light fruit but just didnt even finish it. Let my roomate have the rest he ended up letting it sit there lol. It may be someones fancy but not mine. explosivebeer (36), Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 29, 2008 This beer has a hazy light plum color with a very thin head. My bottle was fairly settled but there seems to be a larger-than-normal amount of yeast in suspension. Some nice sour aroma with a little funkiness in it, apparently from the rice. The body is a little thin and has a little underlying cherry. Dubbercody (214), Vancouver, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 28, 2008 Hazy cloudy coppery side of straw. Yeasty beer smell. Flavor is sour, but also has a deeper complexity as you work your way into the glass. Cider, yeast, some earthy flavors in there too.
Interesting beer, not something I wold drink on a regular basis, but an awesome birthday present beer.
