| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 6, 2005 Poured bright orange and cloudy, with a surprising head for a weizen. Fantastic aroma with a great balance of light hoppiness and belgian spiciness. A pleasure to breathe in, over and over. Taste is huge, full of fruity esters...cherry, pear, banana, and pepper flavours dominate. Lots of great spicy notes with notable clove and lemon zest tones. A bit of hop bitterness brings you back to its essential beeriness and the mouthfeel reminds you of the malt sweetness. Actually much better than many (most) german Hefeweizens I’ve tried. A gem of a beer. beerbuzzmontreal (2921), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Mild flavor of banana and spices. The body is medium with a creamy texture and strong carbonation. Rastacouere (5562), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 18, 2005 Fully diminishing white head quickly leaves all alone a clear light amber shade. Faint malts dont offer much in the sense of flavors, but spiced herbs and flowers. Unfortunately, an assault of banana and apple, peachy, mustardy and phenolic off-yeast work kinda ruins it all. White wine bandagey and creamy chaotic. Very light bodied, astringent yogurt residues. yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 28, 2005 Purchased at Broudy’s, Orange Park FL. Cloudy golden beer with a fizzy white head that disappears instantly. Aroma is yeasty, banana, hefeweizen goodness. Flavor is pretty good, but not up to the standards of the best German hefes. Lemony tart (maybe a bit too tart), with the spices and yeasty flavors. Its good, but not truly excellent. Still, nothing to complain about.. I enjoyed it. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
