Sour lambic like nose, hints of citrus. Light body, lively carbonation. Light malt flavors, citrus notes, moderatly sour and acidic. Finish is dry, tart. More of a wit flavor than weizen IMHO. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA

Foggy orangey copper body with a nice foamy ivory head. The nose has Strong notes of coriander, plums, banana and wheat. The flavor is pulling large notes of apple, clove and coriander, very refreshing and light. A lemony orange citrus flavor backs up the wheat….. nice silky and crisp palate…. I would certainly drink this again!
This Weizen would be a delightful accompaniment to a dish of sweet and sour chicken. vwsteggie (684), Paxton, Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 3, 2004 Has a hazy orangish color with a light off-white head and high carbonation. Smell is of clove/ginger/citrus. Taste is also of the clove/ginger/citrus and finishes pretty dry. Overall an interesting wheat, but not one for me to drink regularly. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 29, 2004 Bottle. Orange color, very hazy. Tiny white head. Aroma is yeasty, citrous and banana. Flavor is not as yeasty but somewhat yeasty. I taste clove and apple. Palate is sharp with a bitter finish. I have to say that this beer is generally authentic. There is a smokiness that I don't really care for but overall very good. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2004 Yellow with an orangish tint, big bubbly head that lasted. Mostly airy malty aroma with a hint of citrus. Thin consistency and light in flavor ... super-sweet lemon for the most part, with a hint of clove. Not what I expected.
