| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Pours almost a Budweiser clear yellow with little to no head. No haze in this one at all.
Aroma is a lot of banana and clove, pretty typical of the wheat yeast.
Flavor is more of the same. really strong on the banana front with a pretty crisp front end, but kind of a sticky back end. Not bad, but not great. BeerandBlues2 (3231), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Bottle purchased at Coaltrain Wine and Liquor, Colorado Springs, CO. Pours sparkling and hazy yellow with an average, fizzy, white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, hay, straw), light hops (grass), heavy yeast (dough, barnyard, earth) with notes of banana, clove, and coriander. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness. ParkSloper (16), New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is fairly typical of the style--citrus and banana esters--but subdued. Appearance is slightly orange and slightly cloudy, with a thin, quickly-dispersing head. Flavor tracks the aroma closely, with fruitiness predominating over a subtle breadiness. Finishes with a snap, then a slightly sour aftertaste. Very light on the palate. Overall a crisper, perhaps more food-friendly take on a Weizen. gunnfryd (3615), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. It pours a nice, hazy orange-golden body with a small off-white head. Slightly yeasty nose with some banana and lemon, sweetness and a little bit of cloves. Almost syrupy sweet in the mouth, with some fruity sourness, cloves and banana. Strange, but quite nice, even though it’s far from the regular hefeweizen. Effervescent. Lemony, acidic finish. For a hefeweizen, it’s both very sweet and very sour. Strange but ok-ish. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2008 33cl bottle. Hazy, very pale gold with a lime tint to the color, foamy white head. Good tart wheat and dry spicy yeast aroma. Medium body and smooth. Nice tart wheat flavor with cloves is lightly sweet. Very easy drinking. Another nice hot weather wheat beer here. guzzler67 (1288), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Bright gold appearance with a tiny, off white head and no noticable lacing. Spicy, yeasty, wheaty aroma. Tart fruit flavor; slightly herbaceous. Medium-to-light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Cleanses the palate well. Fairly short lived, dry finish. Not as smooth and well rounded as the more typical hefe’s, but still interesting. thegreenrooster (1846), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Pour is a bright cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is yeasty, vanilla and cloves. Do it again in the flavor. Cloves, banana and some vanilla yeast. Finish leaves a bitter citrus on the tounge as the beer goes down. A pretty nice German style made in Japan.
