OK...rating this as a beer it wasn’t that bad. As a hefe, not great. Then again, this IS made in Japan so for them to perfectly replicate a German beer is understandable. This wasn’t that bad, though. Aroma was a tad weak. A hind of wheat with bit of spice. Pour was a nice deep gold with a one finger white head. Taste was a little sweet for a hefe, but the nice carbonation and the wheaty tart aftertaste help the beer out.

From 99 Bottles in Federal Way. Poured into Orval glass. Toasty and nutty wheat malts, with big notes of lemon. Hints of banana, clove, and vanilla. Spicy, drying finish. Refreshing!

330ml Bottle - Gravity Beer Market - Olympia, WA
Aroma – Nice wheat aroma with a good malt background and some subtle spices.
Appearance – Slight amber in color, Nice head and slight haze.
Flavor – A very good wheat beer. I was very surprised with this beer. Good balance with the malt and hops. Lots of fruit flavors, orange peel, maybe even some tropical fruit essence.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, great texture with a good dry finish.
Overall – A very nice wheat beer. Was very surprised with this being a Japanese beer. Very well done almost a Belgian style.

Oh it’s supposed to be a german style weizen from a Japanese brewer. But it has a lot of sour and bretty flavors of a Belgian sour ale or Saison. I thought this beer was delicious and refreshing. Lots of hints of orange, citrus and lactic flavors. Very enjoyable.

11oz. Bottle: Aroma is a bit sour. Smells of yeast, sour mix, banana, cloves, spices, mustard, and citrus. Poured orange/amber/yellow in color with a medium-sized, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Full of particles of all sizes. Flavor is lightly bitter. Tastes of spices, cloves, bananas, and yeast. Medium body. Tingly, then dry texture. Lively carbonation. Spiced, dry finish. Over-carbonated.

Cloudy orange, with a ring of white foam. Aroma is very herbal, with some citrus. Flavor is very tart, verging on sour. A lot of citrus in the flavor, with just a touch of wheat character. Juicy, citrusy finish.

(Japan) Found this Brew with fellow KNIGHT, (afireinside96) Golden color with a Sm-White Head. Has a mild spice Aroma with a Pear/Clove taste, It also has a slight bitter finish !!! Cool Logo, but a bit on the expensive side.
