| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2008 11.2 fl oz bottle purchased at Lukas, KCMO. H.7.7 is stamped on the back of the bottle, not sure if that means anything. Pour is hazy yellow golden with a ton of carbonation bubbles and a big, fluffy white head. Aroma of orange peel citrus, orange slices, grain (wheat), and a lemon-lime floral sweetness. Quite a bit going on in the nose. Flavor is tart lemon and orange citrus immediately, followed by wheat and some sour sweetness. The palate is medium, and mouth coating for a Wit. The carbonation that was evident in the pour is not really that pronounced in the taste. The finish is more lime than lemon, but still sweet citrus. Nice refreshing beer. ditmier (1116), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2008 This is so nice in the spring and summer time. Very crisp and clean with a more wheat bread background than anything else, some light lemon zestiness. Well balanced aroma and flavor, with a zesty, refreshing mouthfeel, a tad bit overcarbonated, but still very good. porterhouse (1163), Alna, Maine, USA

Tall off-white head that settles to kind of a frothy uneven cap. Aroma of citrus and spice. Mouthfeel is wheaty-smooth, pleasant. Flavor is light-medium citrus and spice, esp. ginger. The ginger, of course, reminds me of the Hitachino Real Ginger. Pretty tasty and a nice summer offering. soulgrowl (52), Kitakyushu-shi, Japan
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | May 7, 2008 Aroma: Smells very fresh. There’s a strong orange and lemon scent, plus a lot of ginger and coriander and piney hops. Wheat flour and yeast become increasingly prevalent as the beer warms.
Appearance: Translucent mustard yellow, deepened by the yeast. Volatile white head that dissipates in a jiffy and leaves no lacing.
Flavor: A smooth wheat taste, like fresh bread, with a current of lemon tea. Noble hops and tangy yeast round out the flavor. Gingery spices add a subtle but noticeable zing.
Palate: A tad sticky, but light and refreshing. Matches the taste very well.
Overall: An excellent wit for any season. michael-pollack (2741), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
