Lots of coriander in the aroma. Slight amounts of citrus also. Cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Starts mild then developing a coriander bitterness and some sweetness. Finish is a lingering citrus flavor. Perfect amount of stickiness in the palate.

Cloudy orange-gold, exuberent white merangue of a head displaying excellent retention and lacing. Very fragrant aromas of kumquat, coriander, cardamom. Refreshingly crisp with flavours of spicey citrus, some ginger, and a tart finish. Excellent!

Citrusy aroma that’s also a bit grassy. Definite notes of lemon. Smells almost of gatorade at times. Slightly sour on the palate, quite interesting and tangy. Nice beer.

Bottle shared with tupalev, HogTownHarry, blankboy and jerc - blankboy’s bottle. Very hazy light gols with a moderate sized white head. Aroma is quote floral and herbal, with some notes of lemon and grass. Body is very effervescent. Flavour is a bit mild, but very nice and herbal, with notes of ginger and gladiolas (or at least what I imagine gladiolas taste like...). Very good stuff!

My bottle (720ml -- I think) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, tupalev & jerc. Pours a cloudy yellow with a large fluffy somewhat-lasting white head. Nice aroma and flavour of citrus, spices (ginger and more), fruit, wheat and herbal hops. Average bodied. Pretty good, one of the better beers I’ve had from this brewery, pretty pleasant to drink.

Probably the biggest of Japan’s craft beers, and the most widely available. Inconsistent in quality and taste, though. I’m rating the last bottle I had. Cloudy in appearance; this is an unfiltered beer. Fluffy white head. Quite a fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet, like lemonade and roses. Lots of citrus, some ginger. Really pretty distinctive. Finishes like medicine, though - has a definite alcohol/metallic aftertaste that’s really not very pleasing. This used to be among my favorite beers, but probably not after my last bottle.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev, blankboy’s bottle. Murky deepish yellow pour with a large fluffy white head. VERY floral aroma, with lemon and dry spice (ginger, coriander). The taste was a bit weak, more lemon, less floral hop character. Watery, lightly acidic body and a very quick, forgettable finish. Solid aroma, bit of a let-down after that.
