nose of coriander and orange peal, very pungent. appearance is very pale and transparent, event for a white ale. head is enormous and white. carbonation appears strong but with the taste it is hardly apparent, very strange. flavor is not overpowering but nice and refreshing with a balanced malt/hop ratio. the mouthfeel is almost thick, which is remarkable for the appearance. a very unique brew, also solid

Hazy yellow body with a puffy white head that slowly fades. (3+) Zippy aroma, notes of lemon, ginger, floral characteristics. (7+) Light lemon and bitterness throughout, it is rather refreshing. Light, spicy. (7+) Average effervescent palate fits it. Enjoyed this substantially more than any of their other products that I have had. 7+/3+/7/3/15+

Bottle pours a hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of lemons & orange peel is very apparent. The head has now left the building on this one. Virtually no lacing to speak of. Initial taste is of lemon, orange juice (as described), and some corriander. Mouthfeel is enjoyable, some fizz there, however the finish seems to quickly end. A bit tart too.

23 Sept 07. 330mL bottle, 5% ABV. Golden color. Tons of carbonation rising to the fizzy white head. Awesome tropical fruit aroma. Like a starfruit. Light, fizzy, pinot gris flavors, white grape, pineapple, hints of ginger as well. A touch of oak barrel tannins in the finish. Very dry, yeasty, finish. Light bodied and wonderful.

12 oz. botttle smells like sweaty balls and cat vomit, but only mildly offensive. A charming ultra-hazy, extremely pale yellow. Medium body with perfect carbonation and quite wet. Tastes peppery with coriander and a dash of lemon peel. Aftertaste is like very mild slightly spoiled OJ.

good import, quality brew, a bit watery but still somewhat flavorful, probably the best beer from japan sweet white appearance as well.

Bottle. Pours a nice hazy golden color, slight aroma of citrus zest and coriander. Flavor reminds me more of an American Wheat than a Belgian Wit, but the Coriander is noticeable. Too much citrus - probably from the orange peel - on the finish for me. Still good though.

1 Pint, 5 Oz. bottle. Poured hazy paler golden with a medium cap of white head. The aroma picked up heavy nutmeg, citrus zest, and coriander with sweet notes deeper down.. some oranges, some almost (but not quite) caramel notes. The flavor was a bit messy with sour/acidic orange juice building through the finish.. spices were all over the place (white pepper, coriander, and nutmeg all came through at times).. with some balance issues to be addressed. Light-medium bodied on the palate (but a tad cloying at the finish).. a bit sharp and acidic throughout.. left a spicy orange juice and wheaty finish. Decent overall.
