Jun 24, 2007 Bottle...finally a flavorful Japanese beer! This was delightful, well-carbonated, main flavors of orange (tasted a lot like Orangina) stood out. It went well with the Asian dish I had. I will be trying the other Hitachino products.

Jun 20, 2007 A light springy aroma, I think this is a truly great white ale. Some orange notes and spices, it has a pleasant vibrant flavor and aftertaste to it. Quite nice.

Jun 20, 2007 pours a pale cloudy golden with a medium thin lasting head. has a floral alcohol aroma with some coriander and oranges, and a very light grass and almost white grape smell. watery with light crisp bubbles. tastes of bread, lemons and fruit. very dry and refreshing.

Jun 5, 2007 Bottle pours pale golden with a big white head that stays pretty well. Aromas of some corriander, orange, and grass. Flavor is much more yeasty with also a good dose of corriander and some slight citrus at the finish. Somewhat fizzy on the palate but light and refreshing.

May 27, 2007 The Japanese taking a stab at one of my beloved styles...and doing so well. Pours a little gold for my liking with no head and little bubbles. Aroma of grass and yeast. Taste of yeast, lemon and a crisp mouthfeel (a little wet though). Could pick up some coriander in the finish as well.

May 23, 2007 Aroma is wheat, a little sweet malt, some corriander, and a little hops. Pours a cloudy yellow/orange. Flavor is all of the characteristics of the aroma with a nice hoppy citrus finish. Not my favorite style but a decent beer nonetheless.

May 20, 2007 Bottle. Small white fizzy head that mostly diminished. Spar lacing. Milky cloudy orange colour. Ginger, spice, coriander, citrus and some fruity notes as well. Light bodied with a soft carbonation. Flavour was light sweet with some acidic. Spicy sweet finish.
