Good wheat. Pours hazy light yellow with medium white head. Aromas of yeast, orange and ginger. Huge flavor of ginger and lime. Great refreshing summer beer.

Very good white ale, with dominant orange flavors as well as coriander and a faint spiciness. Colored a vibrant yellow-orange with sweet, wheat malt aromas.

Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissapated very quickly, at least on my bottle. Aroma is clove, floral, sweet citrus, and lemon. The spice is a big component of the flavor. I found the coriander most noticable. Clove, grainy wheat, and sweet orange flavors are quite present too. Not as sour as a lot of wits I’ve had. A pretty good wit, but kind of expensive for the quality.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden, with a medium, off-white head. Aroma of bubblegum, banana, clove, and vanilla. Medium body with a moderate finish. Very good witbier.

I really liked HN’s red rice, ginger, and classic Japanese ales, so I thought that they might do something fantastic with the wit style - but I was disappointed. Cloudy but lambent gold pour. Aroma is very fine - a touch sharp and fully floral, with a bit of malt too. I do love the scent of a good witbier. There is a surprising amount of lemony sourness in the flavor, enough to make me wonder if the bottle was infected. A nice dose of nippy hops provided a clean finish, which comes alongside a little lingering citrus sourness. Not much sweetness, but a bit of clove and, of course, wheat malt. A pretty strange take on the style.

Basically snagged a bottle of this to show my fiancee the cute owl bottle and bottle cap. Pretty good stuff, though - a little weak for the style.

Served at the Bullfrog brewery. Creamy yoke with foam white ring. Light yeast and wheat with slight lemon zest. An herb medley which has an odd flavor yet calm and mellow on the pallet. It lost me towards the end, kind of fizzled out and went flat.

bottle 330? ml
Appearance: golden hazed ale with mid top. Fine floaties.
Nose: Citric , fresh , spicy with coriander , orange peel. Rich wholesome wit aroma.
Flavor/Palate : Strong spice , clove a la Charismas cake on wheat base. Neat different Japanese white.
