Mmm. Great looking bottle. Pours lightly, with a small lacing of head. Colour is light to mid yellow, well hazed. Aroma is lemony and refreshing. I like to just breathe this beer. Taste is very refreshing!! The citrus taste reminded me more of Yuzu than orange or lemon, and the belgian-y flavours were present, but a little understated. A fantastic beer that is far more drinkable than most wits I’ve tasted. I can see why this beer has won gold medals. A must try!

Medium yellow, hazy, massive head with big fizzy bubbles. Aroma was lightly citric. Flavor was heavy to the citrus, like a fresh squeezed orange. Faint coriander appears as it warms, along with a touch of honey and perhaps sage. Not bad. Definitely on the fruity side of the wit spectrum, a nice break from the spicy versions I’ve had recently.

Purchased at Broudy’s, Orange park, FL. Hazy light golden beer with a nice long lasting white head. Very light aroma typical of a witbier. Fruity, spicy, citrus flavors, but all very delicate and subtle. Soft and nice, with a smooth mouthfeel. Some additional candy flavor hiding in the mix that I can’t identify, but differentiates this from the typical wit. Very nice and enjoyable.

Maybe one of the better wits I’ve had. Pours a hazy gold, smal head. Aroma is coriander, coriander, coriander, slight citrus, and honey. Flavor is dominated by coriander as well, some orange, and mildly bitter hops. Actually, this tastes more like it was brewed with pale malts than wheat malt. And that is why I like it.

Pours a hazy orange/white with almost no aroma. Looks great, like a witbier should! Taste is a little bland, not a whole lot going on in here, although I do detect some distinct soft citrus, very slight, almost imperceptible. Very nice palate, very fulfilling.

When I first sniffed this cloudy orange beer and then took that first sip, I had to sit back and contemplate. The nose is very citrusy, like orange juice, but I found that first sip to be very spicy. Yes, all the adjuncts are there: coriander, orange peel, nutmeg, etc. But there seems to be a big boost of ginger there as well. After getting over the initial pungency of flavors, I began to realize that this is smooth and refreshing. Very pleasing.

Bottle. Very cloudy gold color. White foam dissapates quickly. Citrus smell with a hint of honey. Immediate orange juice flavor and a bubbly mouthfeel - kind of like a mimosa. No alcohol type taste and no bitterness at all. Remarkably fresh tasting beer. Orangalicious!

Bomber bottle. Pours unlike your typical Japanese beer- thick, full of head, and a nice effervescence. Aroma is orange peel offset by earthy grass tones. Just like the description says, it tastes of coriander, orange, and a bit of nutmeg. Mouthfeel is thin but coats adequately, a bit like orange juice. Finishes full but doesn’t last long enough. This is a very good beer.
