Pours unlike your typical Japanese beer- thick, full of head, and a nice effervescence. Aroma is orange peel offset by earthy grass tones. Just like the description says, it tastes of coriander, orange, and a bit of nutmeg. Mouthfeel is thin but coats adequately, a bit like orange juice. Finishes full but doesn’t last long enough. This is a very good beer. redlight (1490), Winter Park, Florida, USA

The substitution of corriander with ginger was a pleasent change. Tased soft, sweet citrus. enjoyed it very much. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 28, 2005 The aroma is full of coriander and orange. The appearance is a hazy white gold with an off white head. The flavor is malty and mildly spicy with the nutmeg and citrus flavors being the most prominent. The bitterness hits you in the finish and quickly dies but the Sweet aftertaste lingers. This is a light bodied ale. jon112981 (327), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA

Malty, slightly spicy, light flavors. Effervescent but lush mouthfeel. Great! Underrated! BBB63 (4267), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 4, 2005 11.2 oz bottle and sampled in my smaller Great Lakes snifter: Pours a cloudy light golden hue with a small fizzy head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of wheatbread, orange peel, coriander, floral and herbal esters about. The taste starts twangy and citric with just a touch of spice and flowery notes upon the finish. Strangely, a bit of grapefruit surprises me in the end. The feel is quite lively and refreshing, a bit chalky upon the finish. This is more like a Upland Wheat Ale with the lemon notes of the Upland replaced by orange overtones in this beer. I would drink it again, but not at $4 a pop. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 2, 2005 Pale yellow but not very yeasty. Not a whole lot of aroma. Little head. Tart and somewhat bitter. Thin in body and gassy. This is a hard style to get right as this beer attests to.
