Very tangy wit with almost a Berliner Weisse type of sourness, or a wild sourness. Sour aroma with yeast. Taste lemon and ginger. It misses some wheat-y, sweet body and is very light almost like a session ale. Refreshing and pretty tasty though clearly odd beer. One or two points for being quirky, and a cute Japanese owl ’Beeru’ for my # 666. BeerBaron617 (313), Novi, Michigan, USA

Had a very subtle aroma, with a hint of orange peel .It was almost like a less than average wheat beer mixed with orange juice, fllavor wise. I was not impressed with this at all. Generally speaking, I enjoy a Belgian more than the next gal...but this did me no good. It poured a very light cloudy yellow with a bit of sediment floating around. It had a very bubbly white head attached to that drink. Aroma was incredibly light, hints of yeast and maybe a little citrus and spice. It had a bit more flavor than I was expecting from the IBU and ABV, but not much at that. It was just way too light. It had a light body, and was refreshing, but just not enough body to it for my taste. phaleslu (575), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Pours cloudy yellow with medium white head. Minimal aroma of citrus and wheat. Flavor of wheat, citrus, ginger, yeast. The bartender said it was also brewed with oats, but I didn’t pick up on that. When poured there is a lot of carbonation, which disappears quickly. Smooth medium body. Pleasant, refreshing white ale and definitely worth a try. However the aroma leaves something to be desired as it has a bad smell at first. Definitely worth trying. cbeers21 (589), Miami, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Clearish light golden pour with brilliant white head. Coriander obvious to smell but also green apples and a souring twinge. The body is thinner than I remember and has a lighter souring effect, but also some cloved spice in there to balance it out. It certainly drinks easily. deyholla (760), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

Aroma was quite complicated with notes of ginger, cherry blossom and nutmeg. Flavor was also very pleasant beginning citrus with a combination of lime and orange, but finishes a sweet ginger flavor. A nice beer. Svesse (2683), Hässelby, Sweden

Fruity, slightly citric nose with lemon, vanilla and coriander. Fruity taste with notes of lemon, orange, vanilla, a touch of yeast and a hint of citrussy hops in the finish. Fresh and well balanced witbier.
